Health Guarantee – Joyful Cats Home
Welcome to the Health Guarantee page of Joyful Cats Home. We are delighted that you are considering one of our lovingly raised kittens. The health and well being of our kittens are our highest priorities, and we want to ensure that your experience with your new family companion is nothing short of exceptional. That is why we proudly provide a comprehensive health guarantee for every kitten we place in a new home.
1. General Health Examination:
All of our kittens undergo a thorough veterinary examination before leaving for their new homes. These examinations include assessments of their overall health and screenings for potential genetic or congenital conditions. You will receive the medical records and vaccination documentation that confirm these examinations and treatments.
2. Vaccinations and Deworming:
At the time of adoption, our kittens are up to date on all recommended vaccinations. This includes protection against feline viral rhinotracheitis, feline panleukopenia, and other essential diseases. In addition, our kittens are routinely dewormed to ensure they are free from common parasites.
3. Genetic Health Guarantee:
We provide a 12 month guarantee against genetic and congenital disorders. If such a condition is diagnosed within this period and is confirmed to have originated before the kitten joined its new home, we will, depending on the circumstances, offer either a refund or a replacement kitten.
4. Procedure in the Event of Illness:
If your kitten develops a serious health condition caused by a genetic defect during the guarantee period, we are here to help. Please contact us immediately and provide the relevant veterinary documentation. We will work closely with you to determine the most appropriate solution for both you and your kitten.
5. Exclusions:
This health guarantee does not cover conditions resulting from improper care, accidents, injuries, or illnesses acquired after the kitten has left our care. It also does not cover veterinary expenses related to routine checkups, preventative care, or injuries that occur after adoption.
